RC book stands for Registration Certificate Book, if you are the owner of a bike/car then you must know the importance of the Registration Certificate (RC book).

Before applying for a duplicate RC book, the vehicle owner must give a written complaint to your nearest police station. You must provide the details about where and how exactly you lost the original RC book.- A challan will be issued to you that says your RC book is lost.
- Go to RTO website and download the form 26.
- NOC from the bank, if you purchased the vehicle on loan.
- Three copy of form 26
- Xerox copy of driving license, insurance and emission test paper.
- Submit all documents at the RTO office.
- Pay the required amount for duplicate RC book.
How to get duplicate RC book Online?
Apply for duplicate RC book it must reduce your effort by applying the procedure but it can't avoid your visit to the RT office.
Following steps for how to get duplicate RC book online:
- Before applying for a duplicate RC book, the vehicle owner must give a written complaint to your nearest police station.
- Go to the Parivahan Sewa website and fill the application form with the information of written complaint to police station and vehicle insurance.
- Pay the required fee online.
- It generates the receipt, you need to take a print along with the required document as mention below.
- Submit at the RTO office.
Required document for duplicate RC book online:
- FIR original copy
- Attested PUC copy
- Attested copy of vehicle insurance policy
- A challan will be issued to you that says your RC book is lost.
- Attested copy of Adress proof
- Attested copy of PAN
- Affidavit stating that RC is lost and has not been impounded.
