Follow the step to link Aadhar and UAN by using Umang app:(after downloading)
- Select the option EPFO
- Click on 'eKYC services' then 'select seeding'
- Enter 'UAN number' and click on 'Get OTP'
- Enter OTP and click on Login
- After OTP verification, input Aadhar card details
- Another OTP will be sent on Aadhar registered mobile number
- After verification Aadhar will linked with UAN.
2) Online Aadhar verification of UAN by using UAN Portal:
This is a very commonly used method to linked Aadhar card on the UAN portal by the employee.

- Log in to UAN of EPFO
- After Login click on the 'Manage' tab then select 'KYC' option
- Select the 'Aadhar' option and enter your Aadhar detail
- Click on 'Save' option then it show 'Pending KYC'

3) Online Aadhar verification by OTP verification on e-KYC Portal of EPFO:
- Click on 'Link UAN Aadhar'
- Enter the UAN number
- An OTP will be sent to UAN registered mobile
- Verify OTP and enter Aadhar card detail
- Select the verification method(Using Mobile/email/biometric)
- Enter OTP to registered the Aadhar Card
- After Verification Aadhar linked with UAN Portal
4) UAN KYC Update:
This is the most important procedure for employees due to the employee can easily proceed with the claim settlement process online without any issue.Follow the steps one by one to UAN KYC update:
- Log on to UAN Portal
- After Log in UAN click on the 'Manage' tab then select the 'KYC' option.
- Select Bank option and then enter 'Bank Account Number' and 'Name as mention in Bank'
- Select PAN option to enter PAN Number and Name as per PAN
- Select Aadhar option enter Aadhar number and Name as per Aadhar card
- Click on the Save tab, once it is saved, these will go to your employer for approval.

- Go to UAN Portal
- Click on 'Direct UAN allotment by Employee'
- Enter 'Aadhar Linked Mobile'
- Enter the 'Captcha'
- Click on 'Generate OTP'
- You received OTP on you Aadhar registered number
- Enter OTP and verify it
